The YG-2500 is an extended range pedal glockenspiel for professionals and discerning ensembles. 3 1/3 octave bells in C52-E92 range. High carbon steel materials treated with a special tempering process create a pure, bright tone. Suspension cord system to increase sustain and maximize resonance. 1 ¼" non-graduated bars, 3/8" thick bars. Height adjustable frame utilizes pneumatic struts. Full-width damper pedal with dampener lock. Angle brace and see-through dark stained wood frame. Deagan/Yamaha tuning specifications. Cut-away resonator design with only essential accidental resonators reduces overall size and weight of the instrument for ease of transport and storage. Durable frame has lower crossbar support and angle brace in the low end to maintain stability. Folding leg frame design allows compact storage and transport. Locking casters, for securing the instrument during play, are easy to reach.
